To that end, we refer to our Human Resources function as People, Learning and Development (PLD) to emphasize that our programs are about more than compensation and benefits - they are also about helping individual associates stretch, grow and reach their full potential.
Creating opportunities for Wrigley associates to learn and grow is a part of the entire organization's mind-set. To that end, Wrigley associates have a variety of programs and tools to support their professional development.
GOLD
GOLD (Goals, Outcomes, Leadership and Development) is Wrigley's performance management program. While traditional goal setting and annual planning are a part of this program, it goes much further. The entire process reinforces the importance of our values and the tenets of our Leadership Model, while encouraging individuals to stretch, grow and reach their full potential.
Wrigley Leadership Academy
Wrigley Leadership Academy is designed to help our managers and professionals grow their leadership capabilities and refine their personal leadership style. Through individual reflection and action planning, peer coaching, group activities and guest speakers, Wrigley participants explore a variety of topics including: Values-Based Leadership, Self-Awareness, Building Strong Relationships, People Development and Coaching, Diversity & Inclusion, and the "Soul of the Company."
Coaching the Wrigley Way
Understanding the role that managers play in developing our people, Wrigley asks all managers to devote more of their time to people development. Wrigley formalized a global program to support managers in these discussions - that program is called Coaching the Wrigley Way.
